Crazy, but fun.

School + Work + Marriage + Everything else = Pure Exhaustion.
It's a good thing that my husband knows how to calm me down in even the most stressful situations.
But even though life gets crazy busy sometimes, we are still having so much fun.

The most wonderful birthday/Valentines Day ever! I walked out to my car after work & my wonderful, sweetheart of a husband had driven all the way up to Salt Lake to surprise with a note & flowers. I arrived at home & was surprised with a home cooked meal & fruit & chocolate fondue. Cute, right?! Right!
We spent 4 days in Arizona visiting Clint's adorable grandma & grandpa. The have an amazing yard. Dozens of trees covered in oranges, lemons, grapefruits, cumquats, tangerines, etc. Needless to say, we came home with a plethora of fruits :]  They have an INCREDIBLE pool, which was 59 degrees. Clint swam in it for 15 minutes, I jumped in. It took just about as long as it did for me to get in, to get out! It took Clint a matter of hours to unthaw :]

& we are welcoming the REAL Salt Lake season with open arms! Some of our favorite dates are the ones that we get to enjoy at those games! This game was last saturday & it was fantastic! We walked away with a victory! 2 - 0!
I'm not nearly as on top of posting as I should be, but maybe once the semester is over, I can become a little bit more attentive to my blogs :]

One Year Ago

One year ago, I spent Valentine's Day with my amazing friends & my sweetheart of a husband, who was only a "good friend" at that point. :]

I can't believe how fast the time has flown & how much life has changed. & how many memories we have made. Life is amazing & I sure do love me husband.

Here are a few pictures of us of our friendship/dating/marriage!

The Honeymoon that was nearly 5 months ago!

On September 7, 2011, I was lucky enough to marry the most wonderful man I have ever met. From day one, it has been quite the adventure. First was on our honeymoon. The day that we arrived in San Diego, the power was out from when we arrived at 4pm until 2am that evening. We made the most of it, but the sweaty, sticky cab ride from the airport to our resort, which only had one working restaurant, drained all of our energy & some of our cheery mood. Sitting around the pool, with nearly 200 other starving people, was actually really enjoyable. We stuck our feet in the sand, people watched & after 2 hours of waiting for the burgers & chips that we order, we ended up getting chunks of steak in buns & a couple of ketchup packets. So much for the nice dinner on the first night of the honeymoon, which I was really looking forward to. We woke up to the fan of the air conditioning at 2 am that evening. I never thought that the moment would come soon enough. We ended up getting a full nights rest & the rest of the trip was magical from that point on! We went to the San Diego Zoo (quite a hike, but amazing!), Old Town San Diego (where we went to an AMAZING mexican restaurant, an old candy shop & a sweet car show with a bunch of greasers & old cars which lined the dirt streets.) &, last but certainly not least, Sea World, which was in walking distance from our resort! Neither of us had ever been, & we were so pumped! The killer whales, the seals, the dolphins, the otters, the shows. They were almost more than we could handle. Just thinking about this week makes me incredibly nostalgic. I wish that we could leave right now & experience it all again.

I am so thrilled to actually be documenting what we are up to in our lives. It is fun, & will be fun, to look back & see what we were doing at this specific time in our marriage.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about how lucky I am to have Clint in my life. We have so much fun together & the amount of laughter & giggling is almost unbearable, more for our family & friends that have to put up with our shinanigans than us. :] This past year has been so amazing & I'm excited to post about the years to come.

Now here are some photos from our honeymoon that I wish would magically happen again!

& I have to slip this one in here, because it wouldn't be "us" if we didn't ruin something cute, with something classless :]
